I’ve been working in the arts for my entire career—museums, auction houses, top galleries, art fairs, and as an art advisor to private and corporate clients and their architects and interior designers. Championing the brilliance of contemporary artists is a highlight of my career, and I feel so honored to do this work.
Being an artist is hard. Making great work isn’t enough, you have to have a great package, too. There is a positioning to reach the right audience. They don’t teach you about PDFs and marketing skills in art school.
Artists reach out to me to show me their work and to ask for advice everyday. The conversations we have help them to take a new perspective on their work and re-direct how they are presenting that work to the world—to potential gallerists, curators, and collectors.
I’ve loved these conversations and I’m thrilled to share that I am offering consulting services to artists at a reduced rate—critiques, portfolio building, website edits, artist bios, essays, show curation, etc.—and open, unbiased, transparent conversations about the art world from an insider’s perspective to help you take your work to the next level, wherever that may be.
