ROMA NORTE: Photo Essay

Audra spent two years living and working in Roma Norte— a center of Mexico City’s thriving international arts scene nestled in a charming neighborhood of beautiful Porfiriato casonas, sleepy plazas with fountains, and a high-contrast juxtaposition of generational local residents, tiendas, and services with a glamorous, international art-and-design set.

Below is a collection of images that capture nostalgia— taken walking the streets of her former home, where she spent many wonderful hours ambling, observing, and enjoying the sights and sounds with her husband and their dog (who was never more at home than in Mexico).
