Willy Guhl (1915 – 2004) was a Swiss furniture, product and interior designer who excelled at a modern neo-functional aesthetic. He was an unconventional industrial designer who experimented with new materials and forms. His series of mid-century planters based on that early material were wonderfully modern and weather-resistant - produced by the Swiss company Eternit.
This authentic vintage sculpture was manufactured by Eternit, a Swiss garden furniture and object company. Ours is a large example in excellent vintage condition and has wonderful patina to the original white paint from many years of enjoyment in an established garden on a French estate.
