WILLY GUHL ETERNIT SPINDEL PLANTER

Willy Guhl (1915 – 2004) was a Swiss furniture, product and interior designer who excelled at a modern neo-functional aesthetic. He was an unconventional industrial designer who experimented with new materials and forms. His series of mid-century planters based on that early material were wonderfully modern and weather-resistant - produced by the Swiss company Eternit.

This authentic vintage sculpture was manufactured by Eternit, a Swiss garden furniture and object company. Ours is a large example in excellent vintage condition and has wonderful patina to the original red paint from many years of enjoyment in an established garden on a French estate.

We value the history of objects and celebrate the visual evidence of patina that comes with pieces of age and provenance. All merchandise is sold in “as is” condition.
